VOCAL EXPRESSION WORKSHOP
When we allow our voices to express themselves, to meet and resonate together, the journey becomes unexpected and deeply moving.
In this vocal workshop, we will NOT be learning lyrics or solfège. Instead, we will improvise, express, play, listen, and be heard.
The human voice is a profound and multi-layered form of expression. In this workshop, it takes center stage.

Instructor: Iannis Psallidakos
Vocal and speech teacher

Iannis Psallidakos is a Greek-born vocalist, voice teacher, and multidisciplinary artist based between Greece and France. A certified member of the French Association of Singing Teachers (AFPC-EVTA) and a Buteyko breathing instructor, Iannis is known for his work in voice, resonance, and overtone singing as a path to self-expression and healing.

Originally trained in architecture at the National Technical University of Athens, his career evolved through graphic design, photography, land art, and ceramics—until his discovery of overtone singing transformed his artistic direction. Since then, he has studied with renowned vocal pedagogues and sound pioneers, developing a holistic voice practice grounded in movement, anatomy, breathwork, and emotional resonance.

Since 2014, Iannis has led workshops and seminars across Europe, collaborating with institutions, artists, and healthcare professionals. He is a founding member of the Tsak Bam Festival, and has worked with organizations such as:

  • Jeunesses Musicales (France)

  • CCAS (Community Centre for Social Action, France)

  • Jacques Tati, L’Archipel, and Hauts de Saint-Aubin Cultural Centres

  • Université Populaire Albert Jacquard

  • Medical-Educational Institute Graçalou

His training combines voice, somatics, therapy, and sound studies, with certifications in:

  • Acoustic Vocal Pedagogy (Ken Bozeman, Ian Howell)

  • Chant, Voix & Corps (Emmanuelle Trinquesse)

  • Buteyko Method (Patrick McKeown)

  • Music Therapy, NLP, Jinen Butoh, Roy Hart Voice Work, among others
