Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese movement practice that blends gentle physical exercise, mindfulness, and deep breathing into a graceful and flowing form. Originally developed as a martial art, Tai Chi has evolved into a holistic discipline known for promoting health, balance, and inner tranquility. Each movement in Tai Chi is slow, intentional, and connected to the breath, encouraging practitioners to remain fully present and aware of their bodies. It is often described as “meditation in motion” due to its calming and grounding effects.
Tai Chi enhances flexibility, coordination, and strength while also reducing stress, anxiety, and tension. It improves posture, circulation, and body awareness, making it an excellent practice for people of all ages and physical conditions. Its low-impact nature makes it especially accessible for those recovering from injury, managing chronic conditions, or simply seeking a gentler form of exercise. Beyond its physical benefits, Tai Chi is a path to inner balance, encouraging a peaceful connection between mind and body and fostering a deeper understanding of energy, flow, and stillness. Whether practiced in a quiet studio or in the open air, Tai Chi offers a space to slow down, breathe deeply, and return to the present moment.

Aris Pavlos began his Tai Chi training in 2004. He studied the Yang Style with various teachers, initially following Master Chu’s school through Spyros Emma nuel and later the Dong family style.
In parallel, he trained in Qi Gong with Lydia Tylianaki, George Indulen (Zhong Yuan Qi Gong), and other instructors.
He continues his education through seminars, considering Tai Chi a path of personal development. He teaches short forms of the Yang Style, always focusing on the fundamental principles and the internal, meditative aspect of the practice.
In 2016, he founded the Tai Chi Chuan group in Aegina, which practices both at the “Mikro Studio”, a seminar and artistic space with a focus on dance, as well as in outdoor natural settings.
Additionally, he established the open Tai Chi & Qi Gong classes in Aegina’s nature, which are free and open to all ages.
He studied Physical Education at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Photography at Athens University of Applied Sciences (TEI Athens). He has taught Physical Education in schools and continues to teach photography at the Aegina Photography Workshop (M.S.A.K.).
